The Riverina Conservatorium of Music is very excited to welcome visiting internationally acclaimed pianists Edward & Stephanie Neeman to perform in concert. 

They will be performing solo & duo works by Alkan, Bartok, Caracol, Khachaturian, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff & Rodgers.

Edward Neeman has received numerous accolades for his piano performances across five continents. He won first prizes in the Rodrigo and Carlet international piano competitions and has performed with orchestras including the Prague Philharmonic, the Madrid Philharmonic, and the Sydney Symphony.

An enthusiastic collaborative artist, Dr. Neeman has performed with musicians including Itamar Zorman, Abigail Fischer, Ben Capps, and members of the JACK quartet. He maintains an active piano duo with his wife, the Indonesian pianist Stephanie Neeman, and writes piano duet arrangements of popular melodies for the duo.

Dr. Stephanie Neeman has won virtually all major piano competitions in Indonesia, including the first prize in the prestigious Yamaha National Piano Competition when she was only six (the youngest winner ever). She won first prizes in the Empire State International Piano Competition and the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. She was also a top prizewinner and won the prize for the best interpretation of Franz Liszt at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition in the United States. 

Stephanie has appeared as a soloist with the Jakarta Chamber Orchestra, and has performed to critical acclaim across the United States and Australia. Recent and upcoming appearances include a solo appearance with the National Capital Orchestra in Australia, a collaboration with the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Ballet performing Stravinsky’s “Les Noces,” a guest artist appearance for the benefit concert of the World International Piano Competition, and guest performances at Wright State University and Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. Stephanie’s wide-ranging repertoire embraces popular and jazz styles in addition to the standard Classical fare and works by living composers.
