Emily is our Finance Manager and plays a key role in ensuring the organisation’s financial operations are well-managed, transparent, and reliable. Holding a Bachelor of Accounting, Emily oversees financial planning, reporting, and compliance, helping to maintain strong financial governance across all areas of the organisation.

With a focus on clarity and support, Emily is here to assist customers with any finance-related enquiries, including invoices, payments, bursary applications, and general account questions. She is committed to making financial processes straightforward and accessible, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

As part of the Executive Team, Emily also contributes to the organisation’s strategic direction, helping to ensure long-term financial sustainability and continued service quality for all customers.

Kim Shiels - Administration Manager

Kim is our Administration Manager and helps keep things running smoothly at the RCM. She supports the team with forms, leave, professional development, health and wellbeing, compliance, WHS, policies, child protection and general enquiries.

Kim is friendly, approachable and always happy to help. She enjoys making sure everyone feels supported and included and brings over a decade of leadership experience managing pubs and clubs in Wagga Wagga.

ALIX brill-jamieson - Customer Services Officer

SoA (MYOB)

Alix is our Customer Services Officer and a familiar and friendly point of contact for students, families and visitors at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music. She assists with a wide range of enquiries and helps students and families find the information and support they need throughout their time at the RCM.

As a key part of the RCM’s day to day operations, Alix works across student administration, finance and general office coordination. Her role includes managing enrolments and student records, processing lessons and workshop sales, coordinating payments, room bookings and instrument hires, and supporting the administration of workshops, performances, scholarships and other student and community activities.

Known for being approachable, knowledgeable and always ready to help, Alix has a strong understanding of how the RCM operates and works closely with staff across the organisation to keep things moving. She enjoys helping students and families and making sure their experience with the Conservatorium is as smooth, welcoming and positive as possible.

KYLIE DUNSTAN - events, Sponsors and Grants Officer

Dip (Travel and Tourism)

Kylie is the Riverina Conservatorium of Music's Events Manager and is responsible for planning and delivering the Conservatorium's annual program of concerts, student recitals, festivals, workshops, masterclasses and community events. She oversees artist liaison, marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, grant applications and event logistics.

Since joining the Conservatorium in 2013, Kylie has held roles in both marketing and events, bringing extensive experience in communications, audience engagement and event management. She works closely with artists, sponsors and community partners to deliver events that connect people through music across the Riverina.

Kelsey Atkinson - Publicity and Marketing Officer

MBA, BBus (Marketing/IR) (CSU)

Kelsey is our Marketing and Publicity Officer and supports the RCM’s marketing, communications, and promotional activities. With a Bachelor of Marketing and a Master of Business Administration, Kelsey is responsible for the production and distribution of photo, video, and print materials.

She assists the Administrative Team and updates the RCM’s website, social media, and delivers the RCM’s fortnightly newsletter to keep students, parents, staff, and the wider RCM community informed about RCM events, ensembles, lessons, discounts, community events, and student news.
