Performing a beautiful sound of the work, Guitar and Friends concert will feature two sultry pieces, one a Spanish song, the other an Argentinian Tango. Two songs by Glinka will not leave the yearning heart dissatisfied. A classical trio sonata might temporarily rein in those wayward notions, but they will again find an outlet in Leisner's wild Dances in the Madhouse. Finally, excerpts from Carmen bring things to a familiar finish.
