You are invited to join Ann Carr-Boyd and friends on Saturday May 11th, from 4pm, in the Banister Room of the Riverina Conservatorium of Music.

You will be the first to hear new piano compositions, premiere Ann Carr Boyd, Debbie Angus and the RCM piano department staff. Students and friends will perform a wonderful variety of Australian works for piano, beautiful melodies, exciting rhythms and lovely tone colours.

All welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon of musical discourse.

Biography: Ann Carr-Boyd

 Ann Carr-Boyd is a free-lance composer living in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. She has had a life-long interest in writing educational music as it is important to have interesting and rewarding music available for students young and old. Her music covers a wide range of ensembles and styles.  In recent years she has received a number of commissions from Ars Musica Australis, including the Fantasy for Harp and Orchestra ; Romance for Flute and Orchestra ; Piano Concerto No 2 ; Moonbeams Kiss the Sea for solo piano and the Violin Concerto.
